This wiki is operated by Nusameta and hosted on infrastructure we control. This page describes what information it collects and why.
If you sign in with Google, we receive from your Google account:
We request only the openid, email, and profile scopes. We do not request access to your Gmail, Drive, Calendar, contacts, or any other Google service, and we cannot read them.
If you sign in with a local account, we store your email address, display name, and a hashed password.
When you edit a page, your display name and email address are recorded against that revision so changes can be attributed.
Technical data. The server logs IP addresses and browser user-agent strings as part of normal operation. A session cookie is set when you sign in.
Only to operate the wiki: to authenticate you, to decide what you are allowed to read and edit, and to attribute page changes. We do not use it for advertising or profiling, and we do not sell or rent it.
In a PostgreSQL database on a private server we control.
Page content is additionally mirrored to a private Git repository hosted on GitHub, as a backup. Because Git records an author for every commit, your display name and email address are included in that repository's commit history for pages you have edited. The repository is private and accessible only to wiki administrators.
Nobody, except the infrastructure providers required to run the service:
We do not share your information with anyone else.
Account information is kept while your account exists. Page revision history — including the attribution of edits — is retained as part of the wiki's history and is not automatically removed when an account is deleted.
You can ask us to delete your account. Contact us at the address below, and tell us if you also want past edit attributions changed, since those live in page history and Git commits and require separate handling.
